I just love to cook.

Cooking is just one of my many passions. I feel at home just potting in the kitchen, cooking up a storm, baking a cake or just getting dinner on the table. There is nothing better when you feeling stressed then to zone out cutting, stirring and tasting the foods that your going to enjoy with your loved ones.

Tonight we are having an easy to prepare dish,

A Creamy Chicken Bacon Fettuccine.

This is my easy version.

To prepare this dish I have simplified it but I haven’t compromised on the taste. Firstly I place some boiling water in a pot and add the pasta, cooking it to the packets instructions. I dice one brown onion, adding it to a hot fry pan with a little butter. I let the onion fry to a golden brown colour, while that’s happening I chop the bacon and add it to the pan. Next I add a tube of cooking cream, and some shredded chicken that I have left over. The pan will come to a simmer then I turn it down. It is here that I add some finely chopped parsley (or tonight it was some semi dried parsley that I had in the fridge). Now it is a waiting game. Finally I drain the pasta and add it to the creamy mix, toss it around covering the pasta, then serve. You can add some grated Parmesan cheese on top but I just love it without.
