D and J would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.
Wow, Christmas day seemed to come around so quickly this year.
D and I spent Christmas day at home celebrating it with our families, it was a great day. A little hot here in Australia, however we still had a traditional hot lunch. I spent most of the morning running between our two houses putting things in the different ovens, cooking lunch.
For lunch we had a huge Turkey, Pork roast, baked potatoes, pumpkin, and carrots, mixed veg, gravy. Then for dessert we had a plum pudding with custard and ice-cream. If you could fit it in, there was a fruit platter and nibble platter too. We were so full no one was interested in eating dinner. We had so much food left over that we have been eating the leftovers for days.
